2008 World Show Hardships
Greetings Fellow Exhibitors,
The AMHA Show Rules Committee evaluated the 2008 qualifying show season determining extenuating circumstances, at many shows, that prohibited exhibitors from receiving qualifying points. After careful consideration the Show Rules Committee voted on a definition of 'Reasonable Attempt' for 2008 only.
The 2008 'Reasonable Attempt' Rule for World Show qualification is; Any horse exhibited in a class under six (6) judges during the 2008 AMHA Qualifying Show Year will be allowed entry into that specific class at the 2008 World Show.
The Show Rules Committee wishes you all an eventful World Show and hopes this definition will help you meet your goals.

Jim Lowry, longtime AMHA member and former member of the Licensed Official Committee has passed away. Jim served on the Licensed Official Committee for several years and was Chairman for approximately 5 years. The Committee prospered under his leadership. Jim was a pilot for Continental Airlines. He also owned cattle, but his passion was Miniature Horses, which he loved to exhibit in halter as well as driving classes.
